Things to Do in Georgia

As a tourist destination, Georgia offers you many options for activities in which you can indulge – yes, there are so very many things to do in Georgia. You can go all nature-adventuring (but of course; that's one of the best things you can do) by going hiking, biking and running in the many nature trails scattered all over the state, or even go boating in the practically countless lakes and river points of the territory. Actually, you can go camping, stay overnight and bond with nature – what an adventure that would be! Another possibility is for you to engage yourself in water sports; fishing in particular is a favorite, though rafting can certainly get your blood pumping. Driving around and exploring the towns on your own is also an option; you can always stop by the many towns and cities of Georgia, shopping and sampling the food. You can even participate in any of the events held in the cities of the state!

In this section, we will be posting a listing of the many things you can do in Georgia. Each activity type (nature, outdoor recreation, dining, shopping, exploring, event etc.) will be arranged alphabetically and sorted according to city/town. Each item will include a list of specific locations that allow certain activities or host certain events. This section will also include a monthly and annual schedule of Georgia events.
